TORONTO/AM640TORONTO - There's a push now to allow motorcycles and scooters to park for free in Toronto.

The idea is being floated at city hall as a way to avoid congestion on Toronto's roads.

Mayor David Miller says he's backing the proposal, which would also help to cut exhaust emissions.

The plan would also help resolve the problem of parking permits being stolen from motorcycles and scooters.
